    		• Head Volleyball Coach at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho and a Registered Nurse.
     
  • Comments:
    •      		JoAnn is the winniest Coach in Volleyball with over 800 wins to her credit in a 25 year period. She has coached volleyball since 1973 and since 1979 JoAnn has also worked as a registered nurse and has worked many summers at Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City.

    The Family Action Award was presented to JoAnn at the Community Council meeting, which was held on Thursday, December 16, 1999.

    Garth Hall, Ricks College athletic Director made an excellent presentation of JoAnn's success, "Strong family," Hall said, "really is the factor that has made here as successful as she is."

    JoAnn also coached women's basketball for 10 years.

    One key to JoAnn's coaching success is as she puts it, "You take the good athlete and push them as far as you can."
